No. Liquid Wax Candle bottles cannot be refilled. They are designed as ready-to-use and hassle-free table-top lighting solution for fast-moving F&B and hospitality businesses. Each Liquid Wax Candle is filled and sealed by precision machinery for optimal liquid wax level and wick height for the best intended burning hours and lighting effects. Please do not attempt to disassemble or refill the plastic bottles. Also, please do not attempt to adjust the wick height which may cause unexpectedly high flame, short burn hours, smoke, and may cause the wick to drop inside the bottle.

Lumea Candle Lamps are designed specifically for use with Lumea Liquid Wax Candles. All fitting, size and height are engineered for optimal burn hours and safety standards. Putting other wax candles or any type of light sources may damage the lamps and may cause fire hazards.

What is liquid wax made of?
The liquid wax inside the bottle is liquid paraffin, a petroleum based material, similar to mineral oil. It is colour-less, odour-less and does not emit unpleasant fume. Liquid paraffin has a high flash point and will not self-ignite, and therefore safe to store and transport. It is an extremely safe material to use as table-top lighting.
