Lumea Liquid Wax Candle Lamps have been carefully designed to offer you stylish ambient lighting. Please follow this simple care advice to ensure your Lumea Candle Lamps stay looking good for many years to come!

• Glass Candle Lamps should be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. Glass holds its temperature for long periods of time and placing warm glass in cold water may cause enough stress to result in breakage. Never put glass lamps in a dishwasher.

• If your lamp has a metal base, this should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. All the metal bases are treated with a protective lacquer coating and should never be cleaned with an abrasive cleaner. Do not put metal bases in a dishwasher.

• Polycarbonate Candle Lamps should be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent. Do not use an abrasive cleaner. We do not recommend using dishwasher cleaning.

• Soot should not be a problem as Lumea Liquid wax Candles are smokeless, provided the wick has not been tampered with. In the unlikely event that sooting should be a problem, clean the lamp using warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

When using and enjoying your Lumea Candle Lamps, please bear in mind the following:

• Lumea Candle Lamps are designed for use with Lumea Liquid Wax Candles only. The use of a traditional wax candle or a tealight can cause additional heat stress, resulting in a lamp cracking or breaking.

• Lumea Liquid Wax Candles should only ever be used in the Candle Lamps for which they are intended. If you are in doubt about the correct size of Liquid Wax Candle you should use in a Lumea Candle Lamp please contact Lumea.

• Lumea Candle Lamps are a decorative object not a toy – never play with them!

• Lumea’s flame retardant polycarbonate Candle Lamps are treated to withstand a certain level of heat. However, these items will burn/melt if placed directly into a flame so please do not tamper with the Candle Lamp as it is intended to be used.
